Without a doubt Menorca in May is beautiful, with the countryside full of wild flowers, the sensuous smell of the orange and lemon blossom and a cacophony of bird chatter. The island is pleasantly warm and sunny, the restaurants and beaches are quiet, making it the perfect time to visit and an island paradise for birdwatchers, walkers and mountain bikers.
June is a favourite month for many clients, especially those with small children, as the beaches are still quiet but the sea and swimming pools are warm. The island is still beautiful and green and with the longer evenings it is perfect for a stroll in the countryside, exploring the islands' historic sites, or just relaxing in a local bar while watching the sun set.
The early part of July is often overlooked by holidaymakers, but early July is fantastic. The island is very warm and sunny, the slightly more remote beaches are still quiet BUT the best thing is cheaper flights and lower cost accommodation so all the island benefits of high season at a lower cost.
